No Up-front Hardware Costs

Move forward with no initial expense

Replacing aging copper lines shouldn't require up-front investment. Hardware is included as part of your service.

  • No up-front costs

  • Predictable monthly pricing with no surprise equipment purchases

  • Modernise sooner without waiting for the next budget cycle

How it works

Survey & scope - your sites and lines are surveyed, and each analogue service is mapped to a replacement configuration.

Install & port - the gateway is installed at the demarcation point; your existing number is ported or a new number provisioned. Equipment plugs in exactly as before.

Monitor & manage - every line is monitored 24/7 from our cloud platform, with proactive alerting, remote diagnostics and full support included.

What’s included

A table comparing features of a communication system, including a gateway device, hosted cloud PBX, telephone number, cellular failover, call minutes, monitoring, and support. The table details enterprise-grade backup, full call control, new or ported numbers, automatic failover with SIM, bundled call minutes, 24/7 monitoring, and UK-based support.

What Makes DIGI-POTS Different?

Four layers of resilience

A critical line should never have a single point of failure. Every line we deliver is protected by:

1.  Primary connection - voice runs as VoIP over the site's wired connection to our hosted cloud PBX.

2.  Automatic cellular failover - if the wired path drops, the gateway switches seamlessly to 4G data and calls carry on.

3.  Dual-SIM redundancy - if one mobile network degrades, the device switches SIM to the strongest available signal.

4.  Battery backup - an internal battery keeps the line alive through power cuts, with up to 24 hours of standby.

Works with what you already have

The gateway presents a standard analogue line, so existing equipment connects without modification or reprogramming:

•   Alarm and fire panels - full Contact ID signalling support

•   Fax and franking - T.37 and T.38 fax supported

•   Modem-based equipment - V.150.1 modem support for legacy dial-up devices

•   Two lines per device - dual analogue ports as standard, so paired lines (e.g. fire panel dual-path) run from a single unit

Why not just standard VoIP?

•   Purpose-built for analogue equipment - fire panels, lift phones and alarm dialers weren't designed for IP.

Our gateway presents the analogue line they expect, while we handle the digital side.

•   Failover as standard - four layers of resilience on every line, down to the battery.

•   Preconfigured, plug-and-play - devices ship ready to install, so a line can be live the same day.

•   Managed end to end - number, call control, connectivity, monitoring and support from one provider, not a patchwork of suppliers.

Compliance

Designed to support the requirements of regulated and life-safety applications, including EN 81-28 (lift emergency communication), EN 50136 (alarm transmission systems), and replacement of withdrawn signalling services such as BT Redcare.
